Hi All

Hi there from Isi and Andy

We are a couple who started learning to dive with BSAC a good few years ago, but stopped before completion due to a car accident.

We completed our PADI Open Water in September in Egypt, and since then have done a few practice dives at Blue Lagoon.

We haven't joined a club so far as we both work shifts, and often can't make meetings or trips, but we were thinking of joining Skipton Divers with the aim of going on the occasional dive with other people!  Still early days as far as gear is concerned too!

We are going to Eilat in March to do AOW, and then hopefully do some diving for fun in Sharm in Egypt.  Do prefer the warmer waters, but are willing to dive in the UK to improve our skills and spend more time in the water.

Think I'm on nights for your next meeting, but hope to meet some of you soon.

Isi & Andy  :)

Hi Isi and Andy,
Great to have to aboard.
Bit early for UK diving..check on here for the shakedown dive meet sometime in March.
Enjoy your warm water diving :)
cheers
An American tourist asks:
"Why do Scuba divers always fall backwards off their boats?"

To which the diver replies:
"If we fell forwards we'd still be in the fuckin’ boat."

Hello Isi and Andy

Always good to hear from divers; new members are always welcome. Shift works can be difficult - we have a few paramedics in the club. If you can come along to a meeting, we guarantee a warm welcome and a few laughs. Same can be said of our dive trips. Like Nick says, we start the year with a shakedown dive just to make sure the kits all in working order.
