OK, mainly because the pub was taken over by a coach trip of OAP?s and we couldn?t actually get into the bar. Good news on the job front from me ? I has started my new job on 15th July, so I am gainfully employed once again. Apologies on the night from Chris, he was on his hols as was Nigel, and from Stu who was playing scouts.
First Aid Kit & O2 ? just a quick note from Debbie ? the mask and mouth pieces on the new kit are sealed and are for single use only, so please don?t mess with them unless you actually need one, and please TELL US if you have use them so that we can replace them. As we said before the First Aid and O2 must be returned to JT after each trip please.
North Berwick ? 8 ? 9th August ? not as many going as first thought, hopefully the skipper can fill the remaining places. If you DO want to go on this trip, please let JT know asap. All details of boat, costs and accommodation are on the ?Trips? section of the Forum.
Local Trips ? Dan and Pink Panther are diving again. If anyone is planning either a weekend or mid week trip, please post it on the Forum as there may be other people who would like to join you. There are quite a few midweek divers now, so if you want a trip and have no buddy, post it on the Forum and hopefully someone will take you up on the offer.
Insurance ? just a reminder that Dive Insurance will be required when you renew your membership next time. At ?10.50 per year its a small price. Details from
www.divermaster.co.uk DVD Night ? as usual was a great success, nice to see the Lancashire Chapter who made the trip over the Pennines to be with us. Pies were great ? thanks Ian, also thanks to the Jt?s who were brilliant hosts as usual. The DVD?s were from the Jt?s trip to the Red Sea in Oct 08 and the Jt?s with Charlie & Bev to Indonesia in 09. Jon?s new camera equipment worked a treat, and the heckling was up to the usual standard. No news as yet as to when the night actually finished, but I hope you enjoyed your toast in the morning!
Red Sea 2009 ? Still going to plan, keep those fingers crossed. Minibus booked, all travel details nearer the time from JT.
