The Christmas do on Saturday 3rd of December was a good night out, at one end of the Bowling alley were Skipton Divers, at the other end, Keighley BSAC. Needless to say both sets of divers enjoyed the night. Many thanks to Simon M who came for a quick drink, as he had been working and to Stef who came for the bowling, it was great to see both of them.
After the bowling, we all went to Mastabs in Skipton for a lovely and very tasty curry, better still it was on special offer! Many thanks to the lovely chaps at Mastabs, who not only put up with us, fed us well, but joined in the entertainment as well.
The bowling was won by Nick, Mike second and Stu W third, last was Karen A, a bottle of wine to Nick and a can of beans to Karen A to build the poor girl up for next year. JT got more than his usual thong from Santa, he got a mankini, pictures are available on the Forum!. Nick also got a thong after he complained last year!.
As both donned their Christmas offerings, the chaps from Mastabs took some photos as they didn’t believe what they were seeing. Nick and JT then went outside for a fag, so if you saw two gents, one wearing a lime green mankini and one wearing a shiny leopard skin thong, smoking outside a curry house in Skipton, your eyes were not deceiving you. Thank you to all those involved, top night out.
On another note, Karen A is always wanting us to go to a sing-a-long-a Sound of Music, well there is a sing-along-a Grease at the Leeds City Varieties later this year, anybody fancy going?

Anybody looking for buddies please check the forum regularly for requests. Mick Diver 2292 and Simon M are still diving through the winter and looking for buddies. Don’t forget to post some of your pictures or short video clips onto the media page on the forum. Please add any photos from your trips and a few details of what you got up to.
Diving in 2012 – Farnes. I booked the 23rd and 24th June 2012. We will also need details of the rest of the trips you would like to go on in 2012. Bank holidays in 2012 are 6 and 9th April for Easter, 7th May and then 4th and 5th June for Queen’s Jubilee and 27th August. Do we want to go to the Red Sea this year? Lets have your ideas at the January meeting, please bring names/numbers and prices if you can.
The AGM will be on Thursday 5th January 2012 and we will need your nominations for officer of the club and any questions you want adding to the agenda. I hope you will try your best to come to this meeting and have your say.
A very Happy New Year to all of you, hope to see you in the water very soon, lots of SAFE diving in 2012, which as you can tell from this post is about 45 mins away!!
