BUDDY DIVERS NEWSLETTER
www.skiptondivers.co.uk

Hello there Dive Buddies, sorry for the delay in this newsletter, weather stopped the meeting in March and holidays for everybody meant that the April meeting was also cancelled.

News – after their engagement at New Year, Malc and Karen tied the knot at Easter in Scotland. HUGE congratulations (and cards sent) to the new Mr & Mrs Hollindrake from all of us, hopefully we will see some pics at the meeting, for those of us that are not Whatsapp’ers.

DIVING - Graham and KBSAC will no doubt be out training at Capernwray throughout the year, just call Graham to find out when they are next available and join them.

TRIPS
Looking forward to 2018/19:

Farnes 2018 – do we still want to go diving in the Farnes this year? Or are we still thinking about just having a weekend of drinking, walking and sobering up?

Red Sea 2018 - Graham has arranged a trip to the Red Sea in Aug 18, doing the Northern wrecks and reefs with Blue O2.
If you want to join them, then please get in touch with Graham, and see if there any places left on the boat.

Underwater Hockey - Davy Diver has started an underwater hockey session at Skipton. If anybody is interested then please go to the MISC section on the Forum, for more details or contact Davydiver with a message.
The first meeting went very well (please see post on the main board) so why not give it a try?

SOCIAL
Graham has organised a BBQ on Sat 16th June – more details at the meeting, lets hope its drier than last time.

Anybody fancy another trip to Stefano’s as a summer social?

I saw this film festival at Leeds Town Hall on Wed 24th October 2018 if anybody is interested?

https://www.leedstownhall.co.uk/whats-on/film/ocean-film-festival-world-tour-2018/2832  for details, ticket prices and booking on line or http://www.oceanfilmfestival.co.uk/home for details of the films they are showing. It looks great.

Next meeting Thur 3rd May at the Kings in Silsden.
