Scuba North 8th & 9th of October - Ellerton Water Park - Top UK Diving Suppliers

Scuba North is a not for profit Dive Event.
Organised by 4th Element Diving in Stockton on Tees

    SCUBA NORTH
Finally it’s here - the diving event the North has been waiting for. A massive event combining major suppliers, kit demonstrations, trial sessions – and it’s all for FREE. Ever wondered what it would be like to dive on Sidemounts? Have you dreamed what it would be like to try a rebreather? Or wondered what Nitrox diving would be like? Well now you can find out for FREE at Scuba North on the 8th and 9th of October at Ellerton Waterpark Nr Catterick.
Come and get Teky with us. We have got together some of the best that the diving industry has to offer. Start your day trying out the Hollis SMS100 sidemount system in the lake with one of 4th Elements qualified instructors. After that why not try the innovative and unbelievably flexible White’s drysuits supplied by Apeks. Get seriously technical and grab yourself one of the Oceanic head up display Datamasks, and while you are at it take one of Beavers Bladefish Scooters for a run round the lake.
We don’t just have tech kit – ever wanted to try a BCD before you buy it? Well now you can, Aqualung and Oceanic will have their full range available for you to take for a test dive along with other kit such as regs, fins and suits. Be one of the first in the UK to try the New Apeks Sidemount regs. So before you buy take a test Dive – where else are you going to get an opportunity like this?
Ever wanted to know just how bright a really really bright torch is? Well the answer can be yours, book out a Greenforce torch and light up your life.
The BSAC will be represented by Divewise and will be helping with the running of the event along with having their own stand to promote the BSAC and local diving. Prepaid tickets are available for the event at £6 each, this covers entry into Ellerton (currently £6) along with entry into a free prize draw for major diving prizes. Tickets available from 4th Element Diving 01642 601616, fourthelement@hotmail.com
We want the event to be a success and we want these guys, and more, to come back next year and give us a major diving event on our doorstep. If you would like information for your club, or if you would like me (sam) to come along and give a quick presentation on your club night please let me know. I have already been to 6 clubs in the area and have another 7 clubs to visit over the next week and interest in the event is rising. Look forward to hearing from you (Clubs with bars are of course my preferred option!!!!)
An American tourist asks:
"Why do Scuba divers always fall backwards off their boats?"

To which the diver replies:
"If we fell forwards we'd still be in the fuckin’ boat."

Anyone fancy going to Dive North?

Ellerton watermark, nr Catterick. Only £6 for a ticket - need2 buy in advance.  Try sidemount, CCR, etc.

I'll probably be heading up on Sunday 9 Oct- not sure if I'll be diving yet- but should be a laugh anyway!
